Clear answers about pharmacist care

Learn how GetPharmAid works, what our licensed clinical pharmacists do, and how we protect your health.

GetPharmAid is a digital pharmaceutical care platform that connects individuals with licensed clinical pharmacists for medication guidance, comprehensive reviews, adherence support, and follow-up care beyond the retail pharmacy counter.

All consultations, medication reviews, and care guidance are provided by licensed, registered clinical pharmacists. Each pharmacist undergoes credential verification with their professional regulatory body prior to onboarding.

A clinical pharmacist helps you understand prescribed medications, identifies harmful drug-drug or drug-food interactions, optimizes multi-drug dosing schedules, evaluates side effects, and recommends adherence strategies for complex regimens.

No. GetPharmAid complements your doctor; it does not replace them. Our pharmacists can advise on minor ailments, over-the-counter medicines and self-care, but they do not diagnose serious or acute illness or replace physician prescribing. When something needs a doctor, diagnostic tests or urgent care, we tell you clearly and help coordinate the referral.

Yes. Chat with the pharmacist on duty or book a short consultation about common problems like colds, allergies, heartburn, mild pain or skin irritation. You’ll get self-care advice, suitable over-the-counter options for you and your other medicines, and clear signs that mean you should see a doctor.

In the app, choose “Report a side effect”. Tell us which medicine you suspect, what happened and how severe it is. A pharmacist assesses the report, tells you what to do next and refers you to your doctor when needed. If symptoms are severe or life-threatening, call emergency services (112) immediately.

Medication tracking and reminders in the app are free. Consultations are pay-as-you-go, and people with long-term conditions can choose a monthly care plan with regular check-ins and unlimited messaging. Pilot members get their first medication review free. See the Pricing page for details.

Yes. We’re building partnerships with HMOs, employers, hospitals, community pharmacies and chronic disease programmes to offer pharmacist-led medication management to their members, with outcome reporting. Visit the “For organisations” page to start a conversation.

Yes. Chronic illness management (e.g. hypertension, diabetes, asthma, hyperlipidemia) is one of our core specialties. We provide longitudinal follow-ups, tolerability checks, and adherence planning so your ongoing therapies remain well-managed between clinic visits.

Your privacy is strictly safeguarded. We only collect the minimal personal and contact data required to deliver care or notify you about availability. Information is stored in encrypted systems with role-restricted access, and we never sell health or contact records to advertisers.

GetPharmAid is currently in its pre-launch pilot phase. By joining our waitlist today, you ensure early access to our pilot cohort as soon as pharmacist consultations are open in your region.

Yes. The GetPharmAid app lets you track doses, get reminders, log readings like blood pressure, book sessions and message your pharmacist. Install it straight from your browser: open the app link on your phone and choose “Add to Home Screen”.

Yes, with their consent. Caregivers can keep a dosing schedule, track refills and book sessions on behalf of a loved one, and the pharmacist will confirm consent at the first consultation.

Licensed pharmacists with active regulatory registration can express interest through our dedicated "For Pharmacists" registration form. Our clinical operations team reviews credentials, license standing, and experience before initiating our remote clinical onboarding program. Jump to Pharmacist Registration Form →

GetPharmAid is not an emergency service. If you experience severe chest pain, sudden breathlessness, signs of stroke, severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), or any acute life-threatening medical emergency, immediately contact your local emergency services (112, 911, or 999) or visit the nearest hospital emergency room.
